Doris Sanford

SPARTANBURG, SC:   Doris Sizemore Sanford, 81, went home to be with the Lord July 8, 2016.   She was the loving wife of 56 years to her late husband, Thomas Pate Sanford, and a daughter of the late John Tillman and Vera Brewington Sizemore.

Mrs. Sanford was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, a devoted Christian, and a member of New Life Worship Center.

She is survived by sons, Tommy Sanford (Kathy) and Tim Sanford (Martha); a brother, Charles Sizemore; two sisters, Minnie Lou McVay and Judy Biggerstaff; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, at Bobo Funeral Chapel, followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Celeste Cathcart.  Private burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Tommy and Kathy Sanford.
