Ruby Cash Bridges

SPARTANBURG, SC:  Ruby Cash Bridges, 104, died October 20, 2016, at Mountainview Nursing Home.   Born in Cherokee County, 12/22/1911, she was a daughter of the late Romeo Curtis Cash and Sallie Walker Cash and the widow of Broadus Graham Bridges.

She was a member of Clifton Second Baptist Church, retired from Clifton Mfg. Company, and loved gardening and cooking.

She is survived by a son, Bobby Dean Bridges; two sisters, Helen Cash Brown and Ailene Cash Maynor; eight grandchildren, Diane, Graham, Brenda, Gregg, Scerita, Angela, Kelly and Mark; 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.   She was predeceased by four children, Permelia B. Rozier, Carolyn B. Garland, R.B. Bridges and Harold Bridges; a sister, Anna Lou Mullinax; and two brothers, Ralph and Robert Cash.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 23, at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery, Cowpens, SC, with Rev. David Frost officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service.
