Marion Lee Richburg, II

SPARTANBURG, SC:    Marion Lee Richburg, II, 53, husband of Tammy Belcher Richburg, died October 25, 2016 at Spartanburg Medical Center.   He was the son of the late Marion Lee Richburg, Sr. and Mary Loretta Linder.

Lee was a truck driver with Swing Transport, a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and attended Oakbrook Community Church where he played guitar in the Praise Band.  He was also lead guitarist for the Rhythm Muscle Band.   He had a unique humor, a very upbeat personality, and was greatly loved by all.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie Richburg of Asheville, NC; a sister, Sharon Valle and husband, Lucio, of Clemson, SC; and “The Man’s” best friend, Cornbread.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Roland and Guyula Linder.

A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, at Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Johnston and Rev. Randy Burgess officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
