Evelyn Burrell Waters

SPARTANBURG, SC:   Evelyn “Lyn” Burrell Waters, 68, died Friday, April 1, 2016.   Born in Landrum, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Allen Burrell and Grace Plumley Burrell Scroggs. 

She was a member of Reidville Road Baptist Church and retired from sales with Edward’s Specialty Premiums.  

She is survived by a daughter, Angela Griffin Lee; a sister, Barbara B. Edwards (Wayne); two brothers, Frank Burrell (Theresa) and Larry Burrell (Kathy); a grandson, Brendan Lee; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 100 Calvery Hill Baptist Church Dr., Lyman, SC, 29365, officiated by Dr. Tim Wofford.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Landrum.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. before the service.
