Danny Bruce Parton

SPARTANBURG, SC:  Danny Bruce Parton, 60, husband of Sonya Clubb Parton, went home to be with the Lord July 29, 2016.  Born in Mecklenburg County, NC, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Lois Ayers Parton.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam, a member of Glendale Baptist Church, a self-employed painter, and a loving husband, daddy and papa.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Danielle P. Wheeler (Jason) and Kallie Parton (Wesley Harris); a brother, Harold Parton; a sister, Kay P. Spencer (Mickey); grandchildren, Dalton Raines, Carolina Raines, Bella Wheeler, Landon Harris;  a brother-in-law, Johnny Clubb; a sister-in-law, Marretta C. Jackson (Bruce); nephews, Zack, Robert and Micheal; nieces, Victoria, Amanda, and Christy.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Sherry P. Burham and Joey P. Carson.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, at Peace Free Will Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Daniel Blackwell and Rev. Chuck Thornton.  Visitation will be before the service from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
