William John Parker

William John Parker, 69, was reunited with his wife on August 5, 2024. He was the husband of the late Jeanne Marie Parker and the son of the late John and Vernette Parker.

William was a great man. He loved everyone without hesitation and always put everyone else first. William retired a few years ago as an Industrial Maintenance Tech at St. Paul the Apostle, where he was employed for over 30 years. Upon retirement, he relocated to Spartanburg, SC. Here he became involved in the community, joining the local YMCA as well as the Sportsman’s Club. He really enjoyed life here and all the summer activities and attending all that Music on Main had to offer. He was an all-around great person, whom anyone would be proud to know and call their father.

He is survived by his children, Stephanie Tarrant (Jason), David Parker, Jason Parker, Brian Parker and Michelle Parker; a sister, Jayne Gorman (Steve); nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
