William C. Brannon, Jr.
Spartanburg, SC: William C. Brannon, Jr. passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Born May 4, 1928 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late William Claude Brannon, Sr. and Addie Brown Brannon. He was widower of the late Kathleen Thompson Brannon and the late Mattie Ingle Brannon.
Mr. Brannon was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II, and was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by three sons, Brooks Brannon and wife Sandra of Inman, David Brannon and wife Robin of Boiling Springs, and Philip Brannon and wife Jane of Spartanburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He is predeceased by four sisters, Gertrude Murph, Elsie Groce, Alba Walden, and Betty Farmer.
A graveside service will be private.
