Wanda Cudd Griffin
Spartanburg, SC--Wanda Cudd Griffin, 78, of 238 Mansfield Drive, died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born May 14,1943 in Spartanburg, she was the only child of the late Louise Harris and William (Bill) Cudd. She was married for 37 years to the late Phillip W. Griffin, who died in 2011.
Wanda was a graduate of Spartanburg High School class of 1964, and for nearly 40 years was the chairside dental assistant to the late Dr. David R. Stoltz. A gifted gardener, she was also a talented musician, and sang with the bands Trik Alley, Limelight, and The Palisades. She is survived by two daughters, Angela G. Lee and Nicole Harris (Jonathan), both of Spartanburg; three grandchildren, Brendan Lee, Logan Lockman and Jordan Lockman; and four great-grandchildren, Peyton, Camden, Kayden and Lenyx. She is also survived by her devoted “significant other,” G. Nelson Demetriou.

A memorial service will be held 1:00pm, Wednesday January 12, 2022 at Bobo Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be private.
