Trudy Elaine Gaffney

Trudy Elaine Gaffney, 81, of Spartanburg passed away January 31, 2026 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Landrum she was daughter of the late Hosea Benjamin and Ruth Pauline Lowe Wofford and widow of Larry Wayne Gaffney. Trudy was a retired spinner at Spartan Mills and was a member of Turning Point Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son Donnie Gaffney (Jamie); daughters Tonya Gaffney, and Angela Westbrook (Frankie); brother Tim (Kathy) Wofford; sisters Tina Stephenson, Teresa Sprouse and Twyla (Larry) Taylor;   grandchildren Taylor (Spencer), Grace, Caden, Brynlen, Luke, Jacob (Haley), Dylan (Savannah) and Megan; great-grandchildren River, Daisy, Laken, Julian, Addison, Hayden, Odin and Atlas. Trudy was predeceased by three brothers Terry Wofford, Tony Wofford and Ted Wofford.

The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00pm, Monday, February 9, 2026 at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Turning Point Free Will Baptist Church 104 Fairview Church Rd. Spartanburg, SC 29303, officiated by Dr. Tim Wofford, Rev. Barry Looper, Dr. Todd Black. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens presided over by Rev. Wayne Hinton.
