Timothy "Tim" Harold Lipscomb

Cowpens, SC: Timothy “Tim” Harold Lipscomb, 58 passed away suddenly in his home on Sunday, June 27, 2021 in Cowpens, South Carolina. Tim was the son of the late Jack Conrad Lipscomb and Evelyn Blanton Lipscomb. He is survived by his uncle, John Terrell Lipscomb Sr. and cousins and many friends.

Tim graduated from Gettys D. Broome High School. He started working for R&R Donnelly and Sons (LSC Communications now) until the plant closed just recently in Spartanburg. Tim was a Christian and a member of Cowpens First Baptist Church.

Tim, better known as “Bubba” by his many, many friends was an avid dirt track racing fan. He loved any dirt track, but The Eldora Race Track in Ohio was one of his favorite race tracks. He also loved Gamecock football. His smile and contagious laugh will always be remembered.

Graveside services will be held Thursday morning, July 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens.
