Thurman Reid Quinn

Spartanburg, SC:  Thurman Reid Quinn, 77, passed away at home Sunday, September 20, 2020. Born August 17, 1943 he was the husband of Millicent Whelchel Quinn, and the son of the late Isaac and Tess Quinn.

Mr. Quinn was a member of Central Baptist Church, Cowpens and retired as human resources manager for Parker & Hannifin, a division of JBL.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Darryl Quinn; daughters Pam Johnson and husband Steve, Tina Killian and husband Brad, Tanya Quinn, and Tabatha Greene and husband Scottie; grandchildren Brooke Watts, raised in the home, Katie Riddle, Seth Killian, and Mindy Johnson; great grandchildren Zachary Watts, Bella Watts, Hannah Riddle and Sara Riddle; a brother Gary Quinn and wife Shirley; a sister Judy Cooley-Poteat and husband Jim. He was predeceased by a brother Wayne Quinn and a sister Jeanette Allison.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00pm officiated by Steve Quinn. Burial will be at Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, Cowpens, SC.
