Thelma Ruth Childress

Thelma Ruth Childress, 95, passed away on May 27, 2024. She was the wife of the late Paul Edward Childress and the daughter of the late Ray and Addie Williams.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ruth is predeceased by brothers, F.T. Williams, Lee Williams, Mack Williams, Lonzo Williams and Carson Williams.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Rev. Darrel Revels will be conducting the service. Burial will be at Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give a thank you to Thelma’s special neighbors in Chesnee for always looking out for her.
