Terry Eugene Scruggs

Terry Eugene Scruggs, 60, went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2024. Born on June 12, 1963, he was the son of the late Eugene Scruggs of Clifton and Dollie Inez Scruggs of Chesnee.

He was a member of Love Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

Terry is survived by a son, Dustin Eugene Scruggs (Trinity); daughters, Dollie Danielle Emory (Shawn), Christina Rae Scruggs and Jessica Nicole Cunningham (Alex); sisters, Norma Nichols, Sylvia Deaton (Bobby), Teresa Walden and Rena Fenner (Edward); and grandchildren, Nolan, Aubrey, Autumn, Kinsley and Khalil.

He is predeceased by a son, Terry Joseph Scruggs; brothers, Gary Scruggs, Tommy Scruggs, Roger Hester and Jimmy Scruggs; a sister, Janice Scruggs; and two grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Love Springs Baptist Church from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at Love Springs Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. Dr. Ron “PR” Culbertson will be conducting the service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
