Teresa Lee

Teresa Lee, beloved mother, devoted grandmother, and cherished member of the Spartanburg community, passed away peacefully on the evening of June 16, 2024, at the age of 61. While her greatest occupation was being a mother and grandmother, Teresa dedicated over 20 years to serving her friends and community at The Grapevine Restaurant of Boiling Springs, where she was a daily source of joy and support for so many. Her ferocity, passion, and good humor touched the lives of everyone she met, and the world has been slightly less colorful since her passing.

Teresa will be dearly missed by her children, Nic Lee (CarolineSwindell), Mallora Lee (Joan Otero), and Daniel Lee, her siblings Deborah Szulczynski and Timothy Seay, as well as countless friends and colleagues. She will be especially missed by her grandchildren, Gavin and Giselle Lee.

Teresa’s family would like to thank those who have been a source of comfort and support during her difficult battle with cancer. While the diagnosis was frightening, the outpouring of love that Teresa received from her community made it possible for her and her family to courageously confront the uncertainty of the last few months.

Those whose lives were touched by Teresa are asked to join her family in mourning her passing and celebrating her life this Friday, June 21st with a visitation beginning at 12 noon and a service following at 2 p.m. Rev. Ronnie Norris will be conducting the service.

In remembrance of Teresa, her family asks that you dedicate extra time this week to spend with your loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with medical and funeral expenses. Contributions may be made directly to Nic Lee or Mallora Lee.
