Steve Michael Lukachy

Steve Michael Lukachy, 80, passed away at home with his family by his side Thursday, February 3, 2022. Born March 8, 1941 in Denver, CO. he was the husband of Frances Fisher Lukachy, and the son of the late Steve, Jr. and Anita Henderson Lukachy.

Steve was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. His family was his whole life. He loved auto and motorcycle racing, and custom auto and motorcycle painting. He was an avid artist who excelled in free hand drawing. Over all he was a young kid at heart who loved to take trips to Disney Land with his family. His favorite ride was “It’s A Small World”. He was loved by family and friends alike and will be missed.

In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by a son Michael Lukachy and wife Laci; a daughter Anita Caranza and husband Jerry; and seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Steve Ronald Lukachy; and two sisters Jeanette Rutherford and Betty Duckworth.

A funeral service will be Friday June 10, 2022 at 2pm at Ft. Logan National Cemetery staging area A, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. Denver, Colorado 80236. The family will be having food and beverages directly following service at the VFW 5220 W. Warren Ave. Denver, Colorado 80227
