SHANNON RICHELLE HEADMAN

February 29, 1968 – May 23, 2021

Shannon Headman went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, May 23, 2021. She is the daughter of Rodney Lee and Janice Peterson Headman of Spartanburg, SC. She is the grand-daughter of the late Gordon Lee and Avonell Stepp Peterson of Cowpens, SC, and the late Ed and Della Beckstead Headman of Grace, Idaho.

Shannon was a 1986 graduate of Gaffney High School and a 1998 graduate of the Institute of Technical Technology majoring in Electronics Engineering.

Shannon proudly served in the US Army Signal Corps from 1989 through 1994 as a Military Intelligence Computer Specialist and was stationed with the Department of Information Management Center, Washington DC; 501 Military Intelligence Brigade in Seoul, Korea; and the Military Intelligence Battalion, Atlanta, GA.

She is survived by Aunts Rhonda Peterson Walker (Thomas) and Linda Peterson Jewell of Cowpens, SC; and Uncles Carl Peterson (Dot) Gaffney, SC; Hobert Peterson (Sue) Inman, SC; Lee Peterson and Ronnie Peterson of Cowpens, SC.

The joy of her life was her 2 bonus sons, Logan Lemmons and Kade Melton of Cowpens, SC and her 2 fur babies, Itty and Puff. She loved and was loved by all her many cousins, as well as, her friends she lovingly called the Sewing Circle that met weekly at Ikes.

Shannon was pre-deceased by her Uncle Carroll (Pete) Peterson, Cowpens, SC; Richard Headman of Nevada; Reese Headman of Utah and her Aunts Rae Baker and Dayna Baker of Utah; Betty Waggoner and Phyllis Windley of California.

A private visitation and service will be held at Bobo Funeral Chapel on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Visitation will be 10:00- 11:00 AM with the service following at 11:00 AM.
