Sarah B. Gardner

Sarah Biggerstaff Gardner, 87, passed peacefully on November 11, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
She was born Sarah Ruth Jones, October 29, 1936, the daughter of the late Frances and Nora Jones.
Sarah loved life and her family. She loved people and loved to have fun and laugh. She loved music, dancing and family reunions. She will be greatly missed.
She was a long time employee of Converse Mill and Arrow Automotive. She worked at the Converse Post Office before retiring.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Pamela B. Wheat (Kelvin); her son, Bruce Biggerstaff (Tena); sisters, Yvonne Belue, Nora Faye Jones, Doris Swanger and Brenda Dole (Ron); granddaughter, Kara Duncan (Damon); grandson, Devin Wheat (Julia); great grandchildren, Lilly Duncan, Cash Duncan and Emma and James Biggerstaff; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased in death by the love of her life, Charles A. Biggerstaff; a son, Charles Ray Biggerstaff; brothers, Grady, Arthur and Wayne Jones; sisters, Frances Jolly, Mary Fletcher, Hazel Dalton and Margaret Biggerstaff; and a grandson, Brad Biggerstaff.
She was a member of Davis Memorial Baptist.
Families will be at their respected homes.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park. Rev. Garold Thomas and Rev. Damon Duncan will be conducting the service.
