Rudy Clarence Hinkle

Spartanburg, SC:  Rudy Clarence Hinkle, 85, passed away at home Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Born May 10, 1935 in Foard County, Crowell, TX, he was the husband of Ester Hinkle and the son of the late Charlie and Oree Hinkle.

Rudy was a graduate of Crowell High School Class of 1954, in Crowell, TX. He was a U.S. Army Veteran stationed in Okinawa during the Vietnam War. He was retired as a foreman with Southern Railroad.

In addition to his wife, Rudy is survived by a daughter Lyndelle Hinkle; two sons, Richard Hinkle and Bryan Hinkle; six grandchildren, Lacey Camby, Jason Smith, Daniel Smith, Hunter Hinkle, Shannon Schluder, and Adriane Padgett; ten great grandchildren; and a sister Ruth Daniel. He was predeceased by a daughter Kayla Hinkle Padgett; two brothers Perry “Bud” Hinkle and Donald Hinkle; and two sisters Lois Fisher and Joyce Gill.

Visitation will be 1:00pm – 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Bobo Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm. Burial will be at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
