Rudolf Faltermeier
Spartanburg, SC: Rudolf Faltermeier, 86, passed away at his home surrounded by his family, Saturday, April 30, 2022. He was the husband of Natalia Schell Faltermeier, and the son of the late Otto Konigsbauer and Berta Faltermeier.
Rudolf was born in Walkersaich, Germany July 30, 1935. He later moved to the United States where he met his loving wife Natalia. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Steve Faltermeier (Denise); daughters Julia Covington (Jimmy) and Chareen Stevenson (Robbie); grandchildren Nicholas Covington, Caytlyn Covington, Justin Faltermeier, Blayne Faltermeier, Rob Stevenson, and Clay Stevenson; seven great grandchildren; and brothers Otto Schmid and Hans Schmid. He was predeceased by a son Nicklas Faltermeier; and brothers Geor Schmid and Gust Faltermeier.
A graveside service will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
