Ruby Gray Pruitt

Ruby Evelyn Gray Pruitt 99 years old of Spartanburg, SC passed away Oct 3, 2023 at White Oak Estates. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Pruitt, Jr. She was the daughter of Mollie & Lee Gray. Ruby was predeceased by her brothers & sisters: Elijah Gray, Arthur Gray, Pauline Lawter, Ella Gray, Thelma Harvey & Elsie Mae Huskey. She has a daughter Janice Grizzle and four grandchildren: Tony Henderson, Connie H. Shropshier, Robbie Parris & Connie Keeter. Great Grandchildren: Mollie Katelin Shropshier, Justin Henderson, Jean Stafford and Larry Stafford; and many other surviving family and friends.

Mrs. Pruitt was the oldest living member of Glendale Baptist Church before her death. She loved the Lord and her life was a great example to everyone around her.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Bobo Funeral Chapel from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Rev. Daniel Blackwell will be conducting the service.
