Ronald Crunkilton Obituary

Ronald Allen Crunkilton, affectionately known as "Papa Dude," passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 56.

Ronald was a man whose presence could light up any room. He was humble, funny, witty, playful, and full of life. Known for his caring nature and big heart, Ronald never met a stranger and genuinely loved everyone he encountered. His determination, passion, and positive spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

A hardworking man throughout his life, Ronald found joy in music, animals, and spending time with those he loved most. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. Family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Ronald was also known for being a romantic charmer, a smooth talker, and a true "smooth operator" who could make anyone smile. His good vibes, warm personality, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Catina Crosby Crunkilton; his parents, Connie Edney and Billy Edney; his sons, Nathan Crunkilton, Ryan Crunkilton, Jackson Crunkilton (Emily), and Brandon Crosby (Callie); his daughter, Rosie Crosby (Jeffrey); his sisters, Kim Whitener and Christy Lancaster (Steve); his cherished grandchildren, Winston and Asher; his special niece, Sonny Brown; numerous other nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Weasel.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the countless memories Ronald leaves behind and the love he shared so freely. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and unconditional love will continue to live on through his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Bobo Funeral Chapel. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 3:00 PM. The service will be officiated by a good friend of the family, Lisa Glenn.

Ronald will be remembered always for his generous heart, his unwavering love for family, and the joy he brought to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
