Ronald Eugene Casey

Ronald Eugene Casey, 83, passed away on July 31, 2025. Born on November 20, 1941, he was the husband of the late Barbara Casey and the son of the late Frances and Vera Casey.

A proud patriot, he served for 28 years in the United States Army Reserve, retiring as a First Sergeant. His sense of duty and leadership extended into civilian life as well, where he spent most of his career as a self-employed insurance agent.

Ronald was a man who truly never met a stranger. He spent time cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks and feeding the deer, squirrels and birds that visited his yard.

He is survived by his children, Derrick Casey, Sharon Casey Wight and Jennifer Casey Rosenthal (Rob); his brother, Robert Casey; and his grandchildren, Brayden and Mackenzie Wight and Allie and Addison Rosenthal.
