With laughter in our hearts and memories that shine, we celebrate the life of Richard Dallas Reid, who passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, humor, and unforgettable conversations.

Born June 11, 1968, Richard was the kind of man who never met a debate he didn’t love or a person he couldn’t make laugh. He was a passionate fisherman, a lover of music, thunderstorms, and spirited political chats — the louder, the better.

He is survived by his loving wife Jessica Reid, his children Richard Reid and Cerria Reid, and his cherished grandson Aiden Calhoun. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Margaret Reid, who surely welcomed him with open arms.

Richard had a fun, generous spirit that touched many hearts. Whether outside soaking in a storm or cracking jokes that made your sides hurt, he made life brighter just by being in it.

He may be gone from our sight, but his voice, laughter, and fierce love will echo in our hearts forever.
