Phillip Jasper Edge, Sr.

Phillip Jasper Edge Sr. went home to be with the Lord on October 20, 2023. He was the son of the late Isaac Lee Edge Jr. and Margaret Patty, and the husband of the late Patricia Ann Edge.

He was a loving father and grandfather.  He enjoyed time spent with his family, football and watching old westerns – If ever a true cowboy, he was one.  Phillip was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by a son, Phillip “P.J.” Edge Jr.; a daughter, Diane Pugh (Michael); brothers, Billy Edge (Judy), Ike Edge (Delores) and Randall Edge; numerous step brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Kayla (Cody), Christopher, Carley (Byron), Lyndsay (Zachary), Austin and Owen; and great grandchildren, Makynleigh, Emmaleigh and Annaleigh.

Phillip is predeceased by his two daughters, Lynne Allen and Rhonda Edge.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Bobo Funeral Chapel from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at Bobo Funeral Chapel at 6:00 PM.
