Norman A. Cartee

Norman A. Cartee, 77, passed away on August 17, 2023. He was the husband of Carolyn Cartee and the son of the late Floyd and Mary Cartee.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hardworking man that was devoted to his family. He was a firefighter for Arcadia Fire Department for over ten years. He also loved to watch NASCAR.

Norman is survived by sons, Floyd Cartee and Jeffrey Cartee; sisters, Dorothy Pilkinton, Mary Edith Higgins and Cora Lee Black; grandchildren, Kyle, Joshua, Mary, Amber, Kassidy, Damion and Killian; great grandchildren, Shaden, Malice, Keagan and J’Law.

He is predeceased by a daughter, Shannon Cartee; a grandson, Matthew “Cody”; and a great granddaughter, Laila.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Bobo Funeral Chapel from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at Bobo Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM. Pastor Travis Blackwell will be conducting the service.
