Nelleen Adair Thackston
Obituary
Nelleen Adair Thackston, 89, passed away on April 8, 2022. She was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Adair, and the wife of the late Julian Giles Thackston.
She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, and attended Mars Hill College. Nelleen was a long time member of Ben Avon Baptist Church.
Nelleen is survived by her sister-in-law, Joan B. Adair; nieces and nephews, Starr Sellars, Dan Adair, Craig Adair, Scott Adair, Cindy Adair Inman, Bill Adair, John Adair, Connie Cubitt and Lisa Moore; numerous great nieces and nephews; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by brothers, Marion “Mike” Adair, Maynard “Mike” Adair and William “Bill” Adair; and a sister, Lela Adair.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Bobo Funeral Chapel from 12:00-1:00 PM. The memorial service will follow at Bobo Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM. The service will be conducted by Chaplain Cindy Adair Inman, Dr. John Adair and Br. Bill Adair.
