Michael A. Johnson

Michael A. Johnson, 63, passed away on May 3, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on March 21, 1962, Michael was the son of the late Clarence and Ruby Johnson.

Known for his generous spirit, kind heart, sense of humor and unwavering work ethic, Michael was a devoted husband, father, brother and proud “Papa.” He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and quiet strength.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Tina Johnson; his daughters, Abby Johnson Wyatt (Shawn) and Erin Johnson; his granddaughter, Drew Thomason, who was the light of his life; his siblings, Terry Johnson (Debra), Richard Johnson (Christine), Kim Johnson, Becky Stroupe (James), and Debra Johnson; and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at Bobo Funeral Chapel, followed by a memorial service at 1:30 PM, officiated by Rev. Terry Johnson.
