Mary Prince Crocker, 83, of Spartanburg, SC passed away at home, Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Mary was born in Boiling Springs, SC on October 1, 1938. She was the daughter of the late John Landrum Prince, Sr. and Dorothy Brock Prince. The late Geneva Mason Prince was her step-mother. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Frank F. Crocker.
Mary was a member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church, and she was retired from Wachovia Bank after 32 years of service.
She is survived by her daughter Tamara L. Wilson of North Carolina; two step-children, Phyllis C. Rimel (Roy) of Pauline, SC and Frank F. (Phil) Crocker, Jr. of Columbia, SC; a sister Martha P. Eskridge of Moore, SC; a brother John L. Prince, Jr. (Judy) of Boiling Springs, SC; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Jeffery Wade McAbee and her daughter, Kelly Suzette Culbrethson.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:00 am – 11:00am at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am officiated by Rev. Garold Thomas. A committal service will be 1:00 pm, Monday, December 20, 2021 at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
Finally, Mary would like to fondly remember the “YooHoo Girls” in McCormick and all the great times they had, as well as the “YAYA Girls” here in Spartanburg.
