Mary Faye Cantrell

Mary Faye Cantrell, 90, went home to be with her Lord Friday January 17, 2025. Born May 4, 1934, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Rosa Lee Lyda, and she was the wife of the late Franklin Leon Cantrell.

She was a faithful member of East Spartanburg Wesleyan Church. She loved the Lord, her church and especially her family.

She is survived by her sons James Grizzle (Angela), Jeff Grizzle (Anita), and Bobby Grizzle (Sandy); her daughters Susan Whelchel (Jimmy), Linda Bodin (Ellison), and Shirley Erde (Jonathon); her stepdaughter Annette Johnson (Danny); 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Betty Hooper; and granddaughters Christie Fine and Jennifer Grizzle.

Visitation will be 12:00pm – 1:00pm, Thursday January 23, 2025, at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm, officiated by Rev. Ken Hales.
