Marshall Phillips Obituary

Cowpens, SC: Marshall Ellis Phillips, 88, of Cowpens, SC passed away Friday July 31, 2020. Born October 27, 1931 in Cowpens, SC, he was the husband of the late Linda Phillips, and the son of the late Doctor Crawley and Flora Lee Phillips.

Marshall was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was loved dearly by his family and all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

Mr. Phillips is survived by two sons Richard Phillips and wife Debra of Lowell, MI, and Randy Phillips of Cowpens; two daughters Cathy Rice and husband Leonard of Cowpens, and Tammy Alverson of Cowpens; three brothers, Charles Phillips of Cowpens, Billy Phillips and wife Linda of Boiling Springs, and D.C. Phillips and wife Carol of Spartanburg; a sister Patricia Gallman of Cowpens. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Brian Phillips; six brothers and two sisters.
