Marilyn Kay Mitterling

 Marilyn Kay Mitterling, 83, of Boiling Springs passed away on April 8, 2025.  She was the daughter of the late Wilbur K. and Viola Margaret Hewitt Bouslog and wife of the late Bruce Darwin Mitterling.

 Kay was a member of First North Church, she was active in the Girl Scouts and the SC Bowling Association for many years.  Her passions were her grandchildren, her great grandchildren and all sports.

 She is survived by a daughter Penny Vehorn (Mark); two granddaughters Jessie Augeri (Matt) and Megan Garner (Philip); five great grandchildren Hampton, Arthur, Forrest Bruce, Stevie Kay and Landis; a sister  Sue Simkanich (John) and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, and parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, a son Roger Mitterling and a brother Kent Bouslog.

 A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Friday, April 11, 2025 at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.  The family will visit with family and friends following the service at the cemetery.
