Maragret Eloise Harris

Margaret Eloise Harris, 67, went home to be with the Lord Thursday November 27, 2025. Born June 1, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Robert June and Mary McSwain Tessnear, and she was the wife of Danny Attaway, Sr.

She was a faithful member of High Point Baptist Church. She was a lover of animals of all kinds. She loved her dogs, her horse and her chickens. Mostly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 In addition to her loving husband Danny Attaway, Sr., she is survived by a son Danny Attaway, Jr; a daughter Melissa Mathis and her husband Chris; three grandchildren Ashley Harris, Daniel Miller, and Julia Sisk; six great grandchildren; and bothers Larry Tessnear, Jerry Tessnear, and Nelson Tessnear.

Visitation will be 2:00pm – 3:00pm, Sunday November 30, 2025, at Cowpens Community Cemetery. A graveside service will follow at 3:00pm, officiated by Rev. Clifford Phillips.
