Lynda Couch Adair
Lynda Couch Adair, 65, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, July 20, 2025. Born September 27, 1959, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the loving wife of Dr. John Boyd Adair, and she was the daughter of Betty Ann Hewitt Couch, and the late James Aaron Couch.
Lynda graduated from Spartanburg High School and received an Associates Degree in Allied Health from Spartanburg Technical College. She was a Medical Lab Technician for 33 years until her retirement. She was married to her husband John for 35 years, who describes her as a most faithful and loving pastor’s wife. She was also a very accomplished seamstress.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother Eric Jerome Couch; a sister-in-law Jan Blaylock Couch; mother in law Joan Boyd Adair; sister-in-law Cindy Adair Inman (Glenn); brother-in-law Bill Adair (Suzy); nephews Jesse Paul Inman, William Clark Inman, Michael Thomas Adair and Daniel David Adair; a niece Alysann Adair Barnes; and 8 great nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother James Dennis Couch.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday July 23, 2025 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at Bobo Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be at 1:00pm, officiated by her husband, Dr. John Adair.
