Leslie Grey Threadgill

Leslie Grey Threadgill, 86, passed away on April 30, 2025. He was the husband of the late Emily Faye Threadgill and the son of the late Lee Marion Threadgill and Connie Alba (Whitt) Threadgill.

Leslie was a graduate of Cowpens High School, Class of 1956. He attended Spartanburg Methodist College and Carson Newman University. Leslie retired from Southern Railroad.

He is survived by a son, David Parker, Sr. (Amanda); a daughter, Patricia Powers; a brother, Don Threadgill; sisters, Marian T. Hampton (Jim), Nancy T. Davis (Lynn) and Jill T. Thrift (Tony); grandchildren, Donald Hughes (Kristina) and Amber Smith (Kevin), Tristan Parker (Morgan), Gunnar Parker (Erika) and David Parker, Jr. (Jessica); great grandchildren, Kylin, Arizabel, Kali, Sutton, Lily, Owen, Grayson and Hudson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Thursday, May 29, 11:00 a.m., at Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Frost officiating.
