Larry David Jones

Larry David Jones, 84, went home to be with the Lord peacefully at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home on December 18, 2023.

Born in Lafayette, IN, he was the son of the late Harold C. Jones and Helen “Marie” Jones and the husband of the late Effie “Betty” Elizabeth Jones.

He worked at R.R. Donnelly as a machinist for 39 years and served our country in the U.S. Navy.

Larry is survived by sons, David Jones, Kenny Jones (Brenda), Randy Jones (Wendy) and Michael Jones (Kelli); brothers, Paul “Perk” Jones and Bruce Jones (Lynn); grandchildren, Lindsey, Lauren, Jessica, Megan, Scott, Mark, Katelyn and Caleb; and his beloved dog, Sassy.

He is predeceased by sisters, Barbara Ferguson and Stella McBride.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Bobo Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Rev. Richard Peters will be conducting the service.
