L. Allen Pendergrass

Spartanburg, SC:  L. Allen Pendergrass, 70, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021. Born January 20, 1951 in Chattanooga, TN, he was the son of the late Luther and Mary Pendergrass.

Allen retired from Spartanburg Health Care System as Director of Material Management, and was a member of Joy Lutheran Church, Moore, SC.

In addition to his parents, Allen was predeceased by a brother Joe Pendergrass; four sisters Nancy Clark, Della Sue Myers, Bobbie Condell, and Opal O’Rear; and his life partner Roger Dale Higgins.

Visitation will be 5:00pm – 7:00pm, Friday, March 19, 2021 at Bobo Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be 1:00pm, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Bobo Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Pat Page. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
