Spartanburg, SC:  Kimberly Ellon Stanford, 49, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Born April 22, 1972 in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Gene Ray Stanford and the late Ellon McDowell Bridges.

Kimberly leaves behind her special friend Rick Jones; a daughter Danielle Emory (Shawn), and Christina Scruggs; a son Dustin Scruggs (Cassie Whitt); grandchildren Aubrey Emory, Autumn Emory, Nolan Williams, Khalil Hunt; and Kinsley Scruggs; two sisters Donna Stanford Strong (Kenneth) and Lisa Bridges Smith (Cam); a step-sister Benita Bridges Rowland (Matt); a step-brother Benny Bridges, Jr. (Cindy); a sister-in-law Kimberly Brown Stanford; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two grandchildren Roman Anthony, and baby Scruggs; a sister Rhonda D. Stanford; a brother Curtis Ray Stanford; and grandparents Claude McDowell, Sr., Daisy Epperson McDowell, and Ruth Stanford Horn.

The family will have a Memorial Service Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Peace Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Thornton officiating.
