Kenneth Ray Lyda
Spartanburg, SC: Kenneth Ray Lyda, born Friday, August 20, 1954, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 3, 2020. He follows behind his sister Teresa Foster and his brother-in-law Junior Foster. He leaves behind his father James Lyda, his brother Gene Lyda, and his wife Barbara Lyda. He also leaves behind a niece Ashley Guyton and a nephew Ray Foster. The one who’ll miss him the most is his beloved Kathy Wallace.
Kenneth was a service to the community through his many jobs over the years. The one which he will be most remembered is being in the cable business for over 20 years as a satellite installer, and a heating and air technician. His quote in life was that he was a jack of all trades and a master of none, and always live like there is no tomorrow. He will always be remembered not only for the jobs he held, but also by his nicknames; the Professor, the Satellite Man, and of course the Cable Man.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 25, 2020 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at Bible Truth Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm officiated by Rev. David Biggs.
