Joseph Culbreth Obituary

In loving memory of Joseph “Mark” Culbreth:

Losing Mark is one of the hardest things this family has had to go through. We lost a loving son, brother, Father, grandfather and friend all in one and he will be greatly missed by us all here on Earth. But, we know he’s no longer suffering and in a much better place, and that he’ll always be with us in our hearts and our memories.

His kids and I have shared some of these memories together lately and they all share about how he was rough around the edges and had the manly problem of not being able to talk about feelings easily, but he always could tell them he loved them and always showed it, and that they all know in their hearts that he loved them and his grandkids. They also shared memories of how good hearted he was and all the laughter they’d had over the years.

Even though my brother wasn’t perfect, we all knew he loved us and that we were his main reason for life in his eyes. It’s these memories and our love for him that will see us through these times until we all meet together in a better place. We know he’ll be watching over us and letting us know with little signs if we veer too far off our good paths.

Mark leaves behind his beautiful children, a loving mother, three sweet but crazy sisters, two loving step-sisters, one step-brother, and eleven beautiful and wonderful grandchildren. May God bless them all and be with them during these trying times.

R.I.P. Mark (Bubba). We all love you. And we’ll never forget all you taught us and all you’ve done for us.

I’ll always be picturing you riding in the clouds on your Harleys and in your old mud bogging trucks. You owe me a ride when we meet again.

We love you Mark.  Gone from this Earth, but never from our hearts.
