Jon L. Shawley

Jon L. Shawley, 62, went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2024. He was the son of the late Thomas Shawley and Karen Thomason.

He loved spending time outdoors, riding his Harley and going to the beach.

Jon is survived by his significant other, Mary Evans; his niece, Katie Cowart (Jay); and his nephews, Jamie Knight (Annie), Jordan Knight (Christa) and Joshua Shawley (Abbie).

He is predeceased by his brother, Thomas “Tink” Shawley; his sisters, Suzie Knight and Kathy Bridges; his mother-in-law, Thelma Sherman; and his brothers- in -law, James Wimer and John Wimer.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Bobo Funeral Chapel from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow on June 13, 2024 at Bobo Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM. Minister Jason Sain will be conducting the service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
