Joe Harold Staten

Spartanburg, SC: Joe Harold Staten, 81, passed away at his home on Monday, September 13, 2021. Joe was the son of the late Azer and Lillie Staten.

Joe was a Spartanburg police officer for 25 years. He was a simple man, but would give to anyone in need. Joe loved his family.

Joe is survived by two daughters, Sonya Allen (Rusty), Melanie Atkins (Robert), and their mother, Patricia Staten; two sisters, Renee Frady and Angie Inman; and four grandchildren, Jacob and Ben Allen, and Joshua and Ashlyn Hunt.

Joe was predeceased by two brothers, Roger Staten and Bobby Staten; and two sisters, Madge Million and Betty Carr.

A graveside service will be held on September 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM, at Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, conducted by Chaplin Apple.
