Jewell Elizabeth Hattaway

Spartanburg, SC: Jewell Elizabeth Hattaway, 74, passed away Sunday May 2, 2021. Born July 31, 1946 she was the wife of the late James Hattaway Jr., and the daughter of the late Calvin and Nancy Swann.

Jewell was a tough and determined woman. She was known to be graceful and for her unique sense of humor.

Jewell was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Hattaway and a brother, John Swann.

Jewell is survived by a daughter; Jada Cochran, a brother, Jerry Swann, four grandchildren, Jansen Cochran, Juliana Ramirez, J.J. Ramirez, and James Ramirez, and two great-grandchildren; Nova Jane Ramirez and Jose Sanchez.  

A memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Bobo Funeral Chapel with Dr. Mary Alice Evans officiating.
