Jerry Lynn Melton

Spartanburg – Jerry Lynn Melton, 57, of Spartanburg, died January 16, 2020, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Melton was the son of the late Paul and Sonja Sprouse Melton.

            Mr. Melton was an electrical engineer with Hayssen.  He was of the Baptist faith.

            Survivors include one son, Brian Melton and his wife Jessica; a brother, Tony Melton and his wife Sylvia; a sister, Ginger Reynolds and her husband Marty; and two grandchildren, Kaiden Price and Aubrey Bray. He was predeceased by a brother, William Paul Melton.

            Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2020, 1;00-2:00 p.m. at Bobo Funeral Chapel followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Hackett officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
