Jerry Dean Fickling

Spartanburg, SC:  Jerry Dean Fickling, 78, went home to be with her Lord, December 24, 2023. Born December 24, 1945, she was the wife of Michael Fickling and the daughter of the late Mike and Geneva Karras.

Mrs. Fickling was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church and was a retired preschool teacher who loved to read. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a very special lady to all who had the opportunity to know her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Christopher Fickling (Allison); a daughter Michelle Spaeder (Tom); grandchildren Kyia, Colin, Hudson, Dino, Nick, Grace, and Kayla. She is predeceased by two brothers Mike Karras, Jr., and Ricky Karras.

A memorial service will be Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 501 Bethany Church Rd., Moore, SC
