Jeffrey "Jeff" Wayne McCallister

Jeffrey “Jeff” Wayne McCallister, 70, passed away on April 8, 2023. He was the husband of Tammy McCallister and the son of the late Russell and Marie McCallister.

Jeff is survived by daughters, Brandi McCallister Huckaby (Chris) and Katie Amanda McCallister (Ed); one brother, Phillip “Hoss” McCallister; one sister, Tina Easler (Allen); grandchildren, Oliver Quinn Huckaby, Jonah McCallister Carroll, and Lucy Fairbanks Huckaby; nieces and nephews, Means, Shannon, Jason, Michael, Erika, and Cliff; and his beloved dog, Joleigh.

He is predeceased by a brother, Michael “Kojak” McCallister; and sisters, Theresa Jolley and Suzanne Herrin.

A veteran of the US Army, he served bravely during the Vietnam War from 1971-1974.

He enjoyed his retirement after many years working as a carpenter. He was a fan of the Carolina Gamecocks. He loved when kids thought he was Santa. He loved playing his guitar, listening to old rock ‘n roll, golf, cars, and hunting, but his greatest joy came from watching his grandchildren laugh and play.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bobo Funeral Chapel.
