James Spencer Pintuff

James Spencer Pintuff, 70, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023.  Born March 12, 1952 in Rutherford County, NC, he was the husband of the late Irene Harris Pintuff and the son of the late James and Eula Mae Pintuff.

Mr. Pintuff was a loving caregiver to his wife and enjoyed raising show cats, WWE wrestling, and going to thrift stores.  He was of the Baptist faith.  He was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed attending car shows, discussing classic cars, and was at one point a member of a classic car club.  He always said "I want to leave people with a smile on their faces."

He is survived by a daughter Jamie Gambrell and husband Michael of Boiling Springs; sisters Veronica Hobbs and Janis Andersen of Rutherfordton, a sister Karen Pintuff of Rutherfordton; a sister Merilee Morrow and husband Aaron of Boiling Springs, NC, a sister Regina Ledford of Green Creek, a sister Sharlene Dale and husband Gene of Sulphur Springs, and a sister Marlene Pintuff of Rutherfordton, and a brother John Pintuff of Spindale.
