James Leland Johnson

Liberty, SC:  James Leland Johnson, passed away peacefully with his sister by his side, Friday, April 23, 2021. Born August 2, 1943 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Leland and Bertie Nix Johnson, and the grandson of the late Millie Nix.

James is survived by two sons, James and Bobby; three daughters Teresa, Tracey and Ponda; two sisters Nancy Babb and Frances Smith. He was predeceased by two brothers Bobby Johnson and Steve Johnson; and three sisters Geraldine Nelson, Joyce Sherbert and Judi Babb.

Mr. Johnson's wishes were to have a private family service.
