Iris Easler Dill

Spartanburg, SC:  Iris Easler Dill, 92, passed away Tuesday December 27, 2022. Born July 3, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Luther and Beulah Bennett Easler, and the wife of the late Earley Odell Dill.

She was a long time member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to tell stories about her family history. She lived a full life and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a son Luther Dill (Melissa); sisters Dorothy Johnson and Mallie Sargent; grandchildren Jesse Dill (Kourtney), Heather King (James), Matthew Gregory (Brittany) and Meaghan McAfee (Dustin); and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers Oathur Easler, Arbra Easler, Ray Easler and Rupert Easler; and a sister Betty Harrison.

Visitation will be 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Friday December 30, 2022 at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Saturday December 31, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Fred Quidley and Rev. Billy Rice. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
