Howard Dean Smith

Spartanburg, SC:  Howard Dean Smith, 87, passed away Monday July 26, 2021. Born July 9, 1934, he was the husband of the late Beverly Smith, and the son of the late Kenneth, Sr. and Blanche Smith.

Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired dance instructor and enjoyed playing golf. He was of the Baptist faith and visited Casey Creek Baptist Church.

Mr. Smith is survived by his niece and caregiver Terri Harris of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Smith, Jr. and a sister Viva Moose.
