Horace "Peewee" Beaty Thornton

Cowpens, SC: Horace Beaty Thornton, 76, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. Horace is survived by his wife of 57 years, Amelia Thornton. Horace was the son of the late Horace L. Thornton, and Hissie T. Hudgins.

Horace was of the Baptist faith, and attended Trinity Fellowship. He was a loving husband and father.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jammie Thornton; a daughter, Traci Thomas (Gene); a brother, Jimmie Thornton; two sisters, Gayle Erwin and Joann Evans (Larry); a grandson, Jacob Thomas (Casey); and a special fur-baby, Nilla. He was predeceased by a brother, Jackie Thornton.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Trinity Fellowship at 3:00PM, conducted by Rev. Michael McConnell.
